When you register, we collect your email address, display name, and password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google account ID. If you use phone verification, we store your verified phone number. If you upload a profile photo, we store that image.
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in (session cookies) and a small cookie to remember that you've seen our cookie notice. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies unless you're informed separately.
We use your data to operate your account, process listings and payments, send transactional emails (email verification, password resets, listing notifications), and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We use Google Sign-In and Firebase Phone Authentication (both operated by Google) to offer optional sign-in and phone verification methods. When you use these features, Google processes the relevant data under its own privacy policy.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at info@firsthandads.com. Note that a verified phone number is locked to prevent fraud — contact us if you need it changed.
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove or anonymize your personal data except where retention is required for legal or accounting purposes.
